In this video, we are roll-hunting pennies and mainly searching for wheat pennies (1909-1958) - but we are also looking for that difficult-to-find Indian Head penny (1859-1909). Of course, we are also searching for any proofs, foreign coins - and any mint errors and varieties.

Southern Metal is a coin roll hunting channel where we hunt boxes of various coins - half dollars, quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. Besides looking for errors and varieties of all the denominations, we are looking for older coins that contain silver. With half dollars, we are looking for silver half dollars such as Walking Liberty, Benjamin Franklin and John F. Kennedy half dollars. With quarters and dimes, we are looking for pre-1965 silver coins. For nickels, we are looking for silver war nickels and Buffalo nickels (and the occasional Liberty or V nickel). With pennies, we are looking for wheat pennies and the seldom-found Indian Head cent.
