Easy Rainbow Sequin Cylinder Centerpiece with Floating Candles

Easy Rainbow Sequin Cylinder Centerpiece with Floating Candles

We’re merry and bright this Christmas in July!

This is my first official year decorating for Christmas and July and having the liberty (and leisure) to do a relaxed theme, taking my time putting my decorations up, and just enjoying the creative process of decorating was WONDERFUL. I absolutely plan on doing this again in the future.

I opted for an under the sea theme, filled with lots of merry and bright Christmas decorations I already had, along with pretty much everything else. The only thing I had to buy for this was the tapestry, and let’s be honest: the way it pulls together all the colors and themes is worth it. Everything else was either on hand, found at the thrift store, or salvaged trash picking in my neighborhood. I love a good upcycle, don’t you?

Besides getting to work around a theme I wouldn’t normally choose during the traditional winter months, I love how uniquely bright and colorful this look is. It stays away from the traditional red and green, but still gives all the festive vibes.

Make sure to check out other tutorials in this series including my full length, decorate with me video, made for those who enjoy the side notes, tangents, detailed instructions, and tips. I also have a shorter video showing how the complete tree, tapestry wall décor, and table come together.
