NSW Opposition Leader Chris Minns says Labor has been “screaming” for financial support for Sydney businesses doing it tough during lockdown.
“You can’t ask people to abide by health orders, and have their businesses, or their livelihoods, or their jobs lost, simply because they’ve listened to their own government’s advice and health orders,” he told Sky News host Alan Jones.
“We don’t want any businesses lost as a result of someone doing the right thing and listening to these health orders.”
His comments come as Greater Sydney is set to undergo a four-week lockdown extension.
