Trapped: One of the The Worst Deaths Imaginable | John Jones Nutty Putty Cave

John Jones got stuck in the single worst spot in the Nutty Putty cave, head down a 70 degree slope, and unable to get himself out. Add to that the tight squeeze to get into that spot at the end of 50′ of crawling through a tube narrow enough to induce a panic attack in many ordinary people.

There are tons of ways that a person can die, but what happened to 26 year old John Jones, has to be one of the most terrifying deaths that I’ve ever heard of.

John was visiting family for Thanksgiving and little did he know, but the Nutty Putty cave that he and 10 others explored two days before Thanksgiving in 2009, would be his tomb.
