Today is Storm Track 5 Weather Alert Day due to the heat. Temperatures will quickly climb to near 98 this afternoon with heat index readings near 107. The potentially dangerous heat will be with us all week with highs in the middle to upper 90s. Chances for rainfall will be low this week as well. We are tracking our next best chance for rain looking ahead to the weekend on Sunday.
