Haiti earthquake rescue efforts race against time as tropical storm approaches

Rescue efforts in the aftermath of Haiti's devastating earthquake are working against the clock, as Tropical Depression Grace approaches.

It is expected to dump 100 millimetres of rain on the thousands of Haitian left homeless in the streets, which could accelerate the spread of water borne diseases. Meanwhile, almost 1,300 people have been confirmed dead in the earthquake's aftermath, with that number expected to rise.

As Mike Drolet explains, it's yet another crisis looming on the small country that's already in deep turmoil, and still trying to recover from its other earthquake more than a decade ago.
