Our Launch Control series has unearthed some of the most incredible custom car builds in South Africa, and this latest beast is no exception.

When we heard that there was a Hilux running around Johannesburg with a Mercedes-AMG C63 engine, we just knew we had to film it., and here it is!

Quentin Boylan is the mastermind behind this wonderful Frankenstien. He owns Colt & Toyota Spares in Pretoria (https://ctspares.co.za/) and he has a fiery passion for building exclusive, one-of-a-kind daily drives and supercars.

This is without a doubt one of the maddest, neatest engine swaps we've ever seen. The whole conversion has been executed brilliantly and the exterior looks purposeful without being over the top and shouty.
