Wonder Woman is one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. Ever since I was a little girl, I was inspired by this empowering character that symbolizes a smart, strong female who isn’t afraid to take action even in the face of heartbreak or danger. The Wonder Woman character has evolved much in the last 80 years, but most recently the role has been played by Gal Gadot.
To prepare her for taking on this role that has pushed her into global superstardom, Gal Gadot was trained by my good friend Magnus Lygdback for months both before and during the filming of Wonder Woman. It wasn’t until my team and I created this short action scene that I realized just how intensely actors and actresses need to train to be strong enough to make these movie moments come to life!
