Overnight hike Kaimai Ranges | Motutapere & Kauritatahi Huts

In Part-1 Graham & I hike up the hidden Killarney Lakes Track to the first of the "Forgotten Five", Motutapere Hut. We turn south along the N-S Track, past Thompsons Track, past the 1963 DC3 crash site, and stay the night at the remote backcountry hut, Kauritatahi.
