Patients with severe illness are treated with a cocktail of drugs, but there’s still no silver bullet for COVID-19. Some “miracle” drugs have since been proven to be ineffective, and even dangerous.
As researchers like to say, a lot of things will kill coronavirus in a petri dish, including kerosene – but we need to prove treatments can work in the human body.
