If you are new to playing scales and you’re looking for a beginner’s scale workout to build your knowledge of; key’s, the scale tones, and learn your notes on the neck, then this is going to be the best ‘step by step’ guitar scale workout to get you going.
In this video, I take you through a guitar scale workout for beginners. It covers the easiest approach there is when it comes to learning; key signature theory, scale tones, and a process to memorize notes on the neck.
If you add this exercise to your daily guitar routine, it will take at the very most 30 days (or even less), to start seeing results out of the connection that comes from playing the notes of scales using the method outlined in this lesson plan.
If you decide to stick with the exercise routine for a second or a third month longer, you will start using the scale knowledge that you develop from this routine to compose phrases or even improvise!
