The book of Judges is the second of the historical books. In fact the entire Bible is the history of the the Children of Israel and tells our story so that we who come after them may remember and learn from our fore-fathers' experience. This book tells of a cycle of defeat and revival before the organisation and uniting of the kingdom under Saul, David and Solomon.
