Well you needn't - minus one

Hi, welcome to this dedicated minus one channel.
First of all, you won't find here any jazz tracks in a boring swing style with a walking bass (there are already a lot of them on YT).
What do you find? Tracks in straight eights, and a double bass player in a kind of Scott LaFaro style, mostly in a medium tempo. Very useful for trombone players, after all, we picked the instrument for the sound, not for the speed, didn't we?
But of course you can use the play along tracks for any solo instrument.

There are playlists with standards, and also some playlists with specific goals, like practising in all 12 keys, from alternate dominant 7b9 chords to 'classic' turnarounds, and a few standards.
All tracks are played by excellent Band in a Box 'real' musicians (Fender - double bass - drums).

Check out also 'A key a day' at https://www.chrisabelen.com for more standards in all keys, and warming-up excercises with improvisation (long notes, slurs, staccato & scales, turnarounds, blues).

End your session(s) with playing some tunes from the Real Book series, just the themes, your family and neighbours will love it.

And if you are looking for original trombone music (10 albums and counting), sheet music and free minus one studio tracks, visit https://www.chrisabelen.com.
