Dog the Bounty Hunter Says Search For Brian Laundrie is Becoming 'More Dangerous. Duane Chapman, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter, has said that the search for Brian Laundrie is becoming more dangerous. The reality television star is on the hunt for the fugitive. Laundrie went missing after returning alone from a trip with his fiance Gabby Petito, whose remains were found in Wyoming last month.
Chapman has been leading a high-profile search for the 24-year-old in Florida, where he was last seen. Chapman and his team are being aided by law enforcement, a K-9 unit and thousands of tips from members of the public. They are continuing to search islands near Fort De Soto Park in Pinellas County, Florida. However, despite finding a campsite and possible evidence of Laundrie's presence, the search remains ongoing. Law enforcement officials have been searching for Laundrie since his family reported him missing on September 17. Tracking a fugitive is a marathon, not a sprint," a spokesperson for Chapman's team said in a statement to Newsweek on Sunday night. "We are continuing to search for Brian Laundrie. The longer he is on the run, the more dangerous this becomes."
