Rescue Dog & Recuperating Springerdoodle (Sproodle) Puppy In Cone Kiss

Rescue (and therapy) dog graciously takes a paw hit to her nose by a cone-wearing, ten-month old, English springer spaniel poodle puppy, also called springerdoodle or sproodle. She introduces herself and kisses the puppy, as the puppy recuperates.

About the rescue dog:

The rescue dog's human rescued her from a shelter in Lancaster, when she was estimated to be about two years old. He adopted her about two weeks before she had been scheduled to be put down. Her owner said that she had been emaciated at 78 pounds and that he has just weighed her and she is now 145 pounds.

She had been found in the desert so no one knew anything about her. The shelter said she was Rhodesian Ridgeback and Boxer. However, he said she is much bigger than either breed. Her human said he thinks she might be a Tosa Inu and, as a result, some form of or mixture including bullmastiff. He said he thinks she is larger than the regular Cane Corso. He said a difference between her and the Tosa, however, is she doesn't have a tail and that Tosa Inus usually have a tail. However, there exists no information about her specific history.

Alternatively, he said he thought she might be a Boerboel, which often has no tail. She also has webbed paws. I thought her paws really cute.

He said he hasn't had her DNA tested yet, as he has been enjoying attempting to deduce her breed.
