A short video of a 1863 Indian Head Cent Broadstruck Mint Error NGC MS64. This is a 1863 Indian Head Cent which has been graded MS64 by NGC and encapsulated in one of the newer-style edge-view holders. The coin is a broadstruck error and exhibits amazing detail. Broadstruck error coins major minting mistakes that are created when the coin is struck without the retaining collar and therefore the coin ends up being flattened and spread out more than a typical coin. Because of this, the details of the coin are extremely well struck. The coin is free of significant marks or hits and is a wonderful overall near-gem example.
