Jermall Charlo wants to be Canelo Alvarez without putting in the work. Several PBC fighters attended the the Canelo vs Plant fight Saturday night.
Jermall Charlo had a whole lot say about fighting the winner of Plant vs Canelo.
Jermall Charlo has been a Champion since 2019 and he hasn't fought a champion in middleweight division yet.
Now he claims he wants to fight Canelo at 168. Jermall Charlo is the same guy who turned down an opportunity to fight Canelo when he was a Middleweight.
Jermall Charlo said he wasn't moving up to 168 because he's a Middleweight & not a 168 pounder.
Jermall Charlo is the same guy that said David Benevidez has to take a Covid vaccine jab in order to fight him. Charlo also said he does't fight fighters under 25.
Now he says he's ready to move up to 168 and fight Canelo. The pro PBC channels and Canelo haters are now saying Jermall Charlo will be the one to beat Canelo.
In the Middleweight division you have 3 other champions outside of Jermall Charlo. But for some reason, he has no interest in fighting them.
What I've noticed about some of these PBC fighters is they want to be big like Canelo, but they don't want to put in the work they Canelo has put in.
The man has fought 4 times in 11 months. Canelo has fought several Hall of Famers. He's outworking the competition and this is why he is so successful.
Some of these fighters do more fighting on Twitter & Instagram than they do in real life.
It seems to me that every time one of these PBC fighters step up & fight a non PBC fighter, they seem to lose or get knocked out.
Wilder fought Fury 3x and got knocked out twice. Plant fought Canelo on November 6 and got knockout in the 11th.
Porter will be fighting Crawford on November 20th and I'm picking Crawford to beat the breaks off of Porter.
Errol Spence said in the past that he wants to fight Canelo and he's willing to move up at a catchweight. Tank Davis said on Twitter that Canelo is himself at 168 pounds.
Now the PBC doesn't have any champions in the Heavyweight division, nor in the Super Middleweight Division.
If PBC fighters keep fighting in-house fights, the fans will lose interest in these PBC fighters for not fighting the best.
Somebody has to grow some balls in the PBC and fight the best in the division, irregardless of what side of the street another fighter is on.
Follow Canelo's lead and become undisputed, or at least unify your division.
Canelo doesn't show up to Jermall Charlo fights, but the Charlo's and other PBC fighters make sure they show up to Canelo fights.
If Jermall Charlo is serious about fighting Canelo. He's gonna have to prove it by fighting the best in his division and stop capping on social media.
