As much as I would like the world to be a safe place for everyone - it's not, nor do I think it will ever be. Scarcity of freshwater, the absence of work for unskilled labor, food shortages, the balance between crowd control and individual freedom, and climate change everywhere will likely cause this planet to become a hot mess.
Strong military and intelligence forces are crucial on the ground, air, cyberspace, and outer space. Most humans' hardship will cause a fierce fight for resources, safety, and peace of mind.
There will be a need for zero tolerance outside of borders and compassion within the boundaries of your nations. Such disparity is hard to fathom, and it will be a challenge to foster such a culture, especially in a dualistic system such as the one we know in the United States.
Arm yourself with intelligence, monetary wealth, good health, and incredible hunger to produce value. Build up assets and avoid liabilities. Keep a strong mind and nurture the ability to see the reality of things.
Never become complacent to the point that you forget how to defend your body and home. If there is danger, focus on risk management. Do not turn a blind eye. You don't have to love the knife but know how to cut when you need to.
Be a compassionate warrior.
Civilize your mind, make savage your body, and build (and protect) your empire.
