STOP chasing SORENESS in the gym

Alright quick tip, stop chasing soreness in the gym. Being sore the day after a workout is not an indication of whether or not you worked hard enough, and often just results from doing something different. Many small muscle groups recover very quickly and if you’re constantly getting sore, you might either be doing too much or not recovering adequately outside the gym. On top of that, not everyone responds the same to different levels of intensity, and going into a workout while your sore makes it extremely difficult to progress. So stop worrying about whether or not you’re sore and just focus on improving your lifts.
