Different parts of the country have been facing a water shortage issue. To add to the woes, the people of Delhi and Noida have a new problem of water contamination. The drinking water being supplied to people by the state's Jal Board has been found to be contaminated. The people of Laxmi Nagar in the national capital, people are forced to consume this unsafe water for the past one month. The complaints and pleas of these people have gone unheard and no action has been initiated against this serious health concern. The residents of the locality say that the water supplied to them smells like drain water, or even worse.
