This video was recorded over the week of Christmas. The villagers were kind enough to allow me to record their lifestyle, homes, people and to drone footage the airstrip. They are generally friendly and keen to please.
If one knows how to communicate and understand the culture there are endless amazing stories about the Papuan ways. They are some of the toughest people on Earth and have endured many hardships. Nevertheless they still know how to enjoy life and show happiness and gratitude everywhere they go.
The village of Gokodimi is located about 30NM South of Nabire.
This video was recorded with GoPro 8 for the main footage, the DJI Mavic Mini 2 for the drone images and the Sony ZV-E10.
