My big pine tree is gone! Planting a flowering apricot in it's place (and a few garden updates)

The big, dead pine tree in my front garden has been cut down. And I have a gorgeous flowering apricot tree to put in it's place. I will tell you a bit about growing the apricot tree, and while I am in the front garden, show you a few other additions I am making.
