Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda is going to Russia to observe the legislative elections. Elections to the lower house of the Russian parliament, the State Duma, will be held from September 18 to 19. This information has been known from EC sources.On Thursday, a letter was sent to the Chief Accountant in charge of approving the financial expenditure of the Election Commission Secretariat of Bangladesh regarding the CEC's official visit.It said the CEC would be in Russia from September 18 to September 21. His PS AKM Mazharul Haque is also accompanying the CEC on the official visit.They will stay there for five days at the invitation of the Russian Election Commission.
