09/03/2021 CELEBRATE SHABBAT and get in touch with the Creative Power of G-d with Cong. L’Dor Va-Dor

Wishes for a wonderful and special Shabbat to all! As we get closer to the Jewish New Year 5782, Rosh Hashanah, in this Hebrew month of Elul, we may attempt to get closer to the Creative Power of G-d in preparation for these upcoming High Holy Days. Rabbi Barry Silver, our spiritual leader, provides us with some groundwork for better understanding. Included within this special celebration of Shabbat are some wonderful songs and prayers, including the Shehechiyanu, a Selichot medley by Meir Ben Dror and Rabotai, Starting Over by Six13, Mah Tovu, and many others by our cantorial soloists Rose Lopater and Andrew Susman. We hope that you can approach these Days of Awe, the High Holy Days, with more awareness and the intention to recreate yourself to be better and help to make the world around us better as well. Rabbi Barry also reads some of the Torah parsha of Deuteronomy Nitsavim, which is additionally read on Yom Kippur, since it is so meaningful. We hope that you enjoy Shabbat with us at Congregation L’Dor Va-Dor, Boynton Beach, FL. We wish you and yours a very happy, heathy, and safe New Year, L’Shana Tova! We hope that you will join with us in-person for our High Holy Day services (https://www.ldorvador.org/high-holy-days-2021-5782/guest-tickets/) or watch our services live-streamed through our website (https://www.ldorvador.org/high-holy-days-2021-5782/high-holy-day-services/).
