This video is an excerpt from one of Sadhguru's interviews where Sadhguru describes what it was like to have the space consecrated with all the seven chakras activated. The only way to accomplish this was to channel his life energy into the Dhyanalinga. But there were certain drawbacks to this, he was diagnosed with cancers and tumours that were growing at an alarming rate. He became physically weak but he wanted to plant seeds of spirituality in the US. He went to the US. There he became physically even more weak. All medical professionals had declared that he would not be able to make it.
But Sadhguru told them that he will go home even if it's his time to go he wouldn't die there. Then he came back to India keeping this in the back of his mind that it was his time to go. But universe had decided something else for him. His body began to rejuvenate and he was able to restore his body, which took a lot of effort and included processes that did not fit into the rational part of the human mind.
Dhyanalinga is an ultimate meditative space consecrated by Sadhguru on 24th June 1999 after 3 years of intense prāṇa pratiṣṭhā. The space is said to be the doorway to ultimate freedom and liberation. Even people who are not familiar with meditation can enter a deep meditative state by just sitting silently in the Dhyanalinga for a few minutes.
In the video from The Indian Mystics, he appreciates the people who helped him through that period in his life. As he shares this experience, tears roll down from his eyes.
