Durga Puja in Kolkata is one of the biggest festivals and carnivals in India that is celebrated in the month of October. This occasion is celebrated as Ma Durga comes to Her parental house once in every year and people on Earth starts enjoying the occasion to the fullest for five days.
Bengali people are foodies, and especially at this occasion they hardly cook in kitchen, and explore new restaurants and try new dishes. However food and fun is one of the main attraction of this ceremony for many. Foods like biriyani, kebabs, chicken rolls, Chowmein, pani puri, golgappa, fuchka, dahi bada and what not.
